Founder of MonyLook, experienced lash and permanent make-up artist, trainer and international competition judge.
Monica Luca founded MonyLook and has run the business in Zurich since 2021. She has worked as a lash artist since 2013 and as a permanent make-up artist since 2015. She combines that long experience with precision, aesthetics and a high standard of quality.
As a trainer she passes her expertise and her experience on to aspiring lash artists. Continuous education, modern techniques and individually tailored results are as central there as they are in her daily work with clients.
Two crafts
Lash extension work is millimetre work, repeated hundreds of times. Permanent make-up is the opposite: a few decisions that stay for a long time. Over 10,500 clients and more than 672 laminations sit behind that work. Zurich has studios for one and studios for the other — MonyLook does both.

Training
The path starts in 2016 with microblading at the PhiBrows Academy in Bucharest and the PhiBrows Conference in Belgrade. The Master Instructor Training in Brasov follows in 2019, the PMU Master at Sviato Academy in Vienna in 2022, and the STILETO Lips Master in Bucharest plus Cosmoprof in Bologna in 2024. Hygiene and first aid in Switzerland were added in 2024.
Competitions
In 2019 she received the "Best Performance Lash Lift" award at the Lash & Brow Queen Championship in Chisinau. In 2023 she sat on the jury of the Europa Beauty Championship herself, and in 2024 on that of the American Beauty Championship.
